Great writeup! Why is Ubisoft at the lowest valuation? given its growth and value, why wouldnt you consider Ubisoft to be the best investment of the bunch?
The biggest risk I see is management being too prudent on an industry that is evolving so quickly. I think in the gaming industry and having a strong cash position you are better off trying an failing than waiting.
Yep, I would have to agree - it seems like a material opportunity cost. However, I see it as a double edged sword... The fact that management are historically tentative with regards to capital allocation indicates a deep level of due-diligence before any sort of investment. Basically, it gives me confidence that when they do invest/acquire, it's for a good reason.
They need to be careful about falling behind within the fast-paced gaming industry though.
